Dobbendeel Restaurant-Cafe in Bad Bederkesa

Excellent cuisine, very tasty and well presented. We were very surprised as we have been back here for ages. Service very nice and friendly. We will be back.

The food is way too expensive and we had dishes that weren't that good in taste. I don't pay 40 euros for a game menu where the meat is tough. The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is very nice, you feel comfortable. The only thing left to do is work on the food, I've heard that many times. Sorry, try harder.

A nice place to relax and unwind. Very clean and well maintained. The Cafe Dobbendeel is a feast for the eyes and very friendly service who pay attention to everything in Corona times. Very nice

The ambience and decor is nice and the view of the lake is also good, the staff friendly, but the portion of the food could be adjusted to the price.

Went here for coffee with friends. Coffee, cake good. Service not, little attention. We won't stop often.

Most restaurants have organizationally adjusted to Corona times. Some also used the compulsory break in spring to develop new ideas. The Dobbendeel is definitely one of them. In addition to the classics (the TV menu has unfortunately disappeared), there are now exciting new things on the menu. A poultry essence is smoked in the plate, a salmon fillet is combined unconventionally with bouillabaisse stock and ratatouille ravioli, a creme brulee gets a new texture with a little rice pudding. It is particularly gratifying how precisely the new ideas are implemented in the kitchen. The quail egg in the poultry essence is plum-soft, the salmon is perfectly cooked and the creme brulee has a freshly caramelized sugar crust. Definitely a recommendation.

Good and big cake. The waitress can get more tips with a little more smile.

A magical view of the lake, which has its charms in any weather. The staff is extremely friendly and obliging. The menu and selection of cakes leaves little to be desired. I was particularly fascinated by the burger that you can make yourself. Which vegetables or sauce you want to use, according to your own taste. Stylishly served on a cake stand.

Very friendly service. The food was very tasty (only the burgers could be clearly improved), portions are sometimes quite small. Ambience with a view of the lake is nice.

A fresh wind is blowing from the lake. Palm trees, white sand and a cold beer. So you can endure the heat 👍

Impossible ... despite at least two waitresses we were ignored for over 15 minutes (although we were seen). There was hardly any activity and there was obviously time for long conversations with other guests. We left very dissatisfied and we will certainly not be seen again there.

Great location and good selection only our waitress was a little frosty. But it looks like it was a temporary help. According to friends, the regular staff should be significantly better.

Was here in June 2020 at corona time. Enjoyed a nice view at the lake on the small sandy beach with a beer. The three point deduction is for the openly shown unfriendliness when I asked if it was already open and you would be served outside. Unnecessary and stupid reaction in my view. Too bad, otherwise a nice stay.

Food was great but not a wide range of alcohol to choose from 😉

The bathroom's where so discussing that it made us doubt about the food quality...food was ok but after seeing the restrooms, we were already on a bad mood

Eaten here on a weekday Tuesday evening. There were several tables occupied in the conservatory. Only main course and dessert. Was more than sufficient. Kabeljouw was nicely packaged and did not look like a piece of fish. Flavors also combined well. Friendly service and good price / quality ratio.

We were warmly welcomed in this wonderfully warm ambience and our special requests in the food order were implemented without problems. The food was excellent and tasted flawless. The prices are in a - in my view - absolutely reasonable frame. In my opinion, the wine list could be a bit more international, as I do not like German red wines. We will definitely be back and look forward to the next time.
